Beginning with the latest release of Communique for Marketplaces, versioning has been simplified to help you quickly identify which version of Communique for Marketplaces you are using and where your version is in relation to the latest release.
To find the current version of Communique for Marketplaces or any other software released by Marketplace Reporting, look to the lower right-hand corner of the software in the status bar area of the application. Within the far-right side of the status bar, you will see something like this “Alexa 22.150.”
The new versioning for Marketplace Reporting software has 3 elements. The first element (Alexa) is the development platform used for the release. The second element (22) is the release year 2022. The third and final element (150) is the build number for the release.
Build numbers ending with an even number or a multiple of 5 are public releases. Odd numbered builds are private builds. All customers with an active subscription have access to public releases. Private builds are an interim release between public releases that are available for customers who are provided with a fix for a reported issue, or for a customization like a report or utility.
Our subscription service provides for automatic updates as soon as public releases are available so you should always have the latest release; however, in the unlikely event you do not have the latest release, this would be one way to know for sure.
