Overview for this release
This release is a general maintenance release. Minor updates and enhancements have made since the previous release. Date tests were performed to ensure there are no FY 2022 compatibility issues.
Versioning Change
Beginning with the latest release of Communique Pro for Stone Edge, versioning has been simplified to help you quickly identify which version of Communique Pro you are using and how far behind you may be from the current release.
The new versioning has 3 elements. The first element (Rio) is the development platform used for the release. The second element (22) is the release year 2022. The third and final element (110) is the build number for the release.
Build numbers ending with an even number or a multiple of 5 are public releases. Odd numbered builds are private builds. All customers with active software assurance have access to public releases. Private builds are an interim release between public releases that are available for customers who are provided with a fix to a reported issue, or for a customization like a report or utility.
General Enhancements or Fixes
- FY 2022 Compatibility: We added FY 2022 compatibility for certain reports in Communiqué and performed various date compatibility tests to ensure there are no date related issues with the reports.
- The release contains all of the fixes for resolved issues reported by merchants since the last release.
- Enhancements were made to reports to improve kit (bundle) and part (component) reporting.
- History reports have been enhanced to take into account date for orders and refunds in the same month.
- Source of Sales filter has been added to all Sales Tax reports.
- Data Analyzers data pages utilizing band view was not working.
- Price Level filters added to certain data filters.
- Inventory Filter Tab: Resolved issue with Drop ship and Discontinued filters.
- Export: No longer defaults to the application path. It now defaults to the local document’s directory.
- IsVoid Issue: The tracking table contains a field named IsVoid. This field indicates a tracking label issued for an order has been voided. A few years back Stone Edge changed how it handled this field and we adjusted accordingly. However, when using third party applications or customizations they did respect these changes and caused shipments not to appear in reports, dashboards, & data analyzers. Adjustments were made in this release to account for this new possibility.
- Example: Some merchants have been importing FBA data files and including the shipment info in the tracking table; however, they were not setting the IsVoided indicator correctly which caused many of those shipments not to display on certain reports, dashboards, or data analyzers.
- When adding shipments to the tracking table, the IsVoided indicator needs to be set to “N” by default if a shipment is not voided, and “Y” when it is voided. Our fix in this released now considers the possibility this field is blank or null. Blank or null fields will now display on reports, dashboards, and data analyzers as if it has a “N” indicator.

- Inventory Invoice & Received: This report is located in the Standard Reports -> Purchase Orders section.
- Product Sales by Customer: This report is located in the Standard Reports -> Customers -> Customer Sales section.
- TaxJar Sales Export: This report is located in the Standard Reports -> Financials -> History section.
New Data Analyzers
- Returns & Exchanges: This report is located in the Data Analyzers -> Returns section.
- Sales Tax by Order: This report is located in the Data Analyzers -> Financials -> History section.
- Sales Tax by State: This report is located in the Data Analyzers -> Financials -> History section.
