Auto Reconciling Settlements with Orders

By default, settlements are automatically reconciled with orders as long as there is a 0 variance between the 2. This option provides tremendous advantage when using the Settles -> Order Reconciliation report since you are only viewing orders and settlements which did not reconcile. A huge time savings during reconciliation because there is no need to review orders and settlements which balance and have a 0 variance.

I do not see any advantage to toggling this option off and manually reconciling all settlements and orders. The exception perhaps may be for training purposes so you can build your confidence with the settlement and auto reconciliation process.

The auto reconciliation let’s you focus on the out of balance transactions so you can resolve those quickly without wasting time on transactions which balance.
