They realized automation was the only way they could grow their business profitably, so they contacted Marketplace Reporting for help.

In this presentation we’ll explore a solution we designed, developed, and implemented for Bell’s Bike Shop.

They use CA to manage its distribution centers with current inventory quantities from their vendors for marketplace listings on Amazon, eBay, and Walmart to name a few.

Initially, uploading vendor inventory quantities was a manual process using Excel Spreadsheets and various other file formats.

Due to the labor-intensive nature of this process, they could only upload one file per day, and that file was only for a couple vendors.  They quickly realized they were not uploading inventory quantities fast enough to CA and found themselves overselling product.

Bells Bike Shop understood something had to be done to streamline and automate inventory level retrieval and processing from their vendors so they could upload current quantities to their ChannelAdvisor distribution centers more frequently.
