The Excess Inventory report is an Amazon FBA Business report available for FBA Merchants. The Excess Inventory report identifies products potentially having excess inventory if either of the following applies:
- At least one unit of inventory is more than 90 days old, and the cost of keeping your inventory in fulfillment centers is higher than the cost to reduce the number of units through markdowns, advertising, liquidations, or removals.
- Or the product has over 90 days of supply.
Any of your FBA products with units that meet these criteria are found in this report. This report provides an alert for each qualifying product indicating whether the item has low traffic or conversion. The Excess Inventory report offers recommendations for you to consider. The Marketplace Reporting implementation of this report has value added features which extends the usefulness of the Excess Inventory report.
Some of the value-added features include:
- Supplier Info
- Along with Brands and Categories
- for greater insight into trends & patterns for your excess inventory.
