Skubana provides created and modified values in date and time format. When making requests, the integrator uses the date and ignores time. Time is ignored because orders can be added during the day which has a time earlier than the last date & time recorded in Marketplace Reporting.
When requesting orders, products, purchase orders, and returns, the Skubana integrator will request new and modified using the last created and modified dates. The request date is the start of the last recorded day through today’s date at 23:59:59:59 (current day’s date).
We’ve received several support requests over the last few months regarding missing orders. We’ve resolved this issue by setting the integrators start date far enough in the past to re-request orders from Skubana. This has been successful in that the missing orders are no longer missing.
After discussions with several merchants, we discovered and confirmed that some orders are added with a created date several days earlier than the latest created date (Amazon orders confirmed this), so it seems these orders are posted later than others and likely the reason they are missed by the Skubana Integrator.
Note: Skubana does not have a separate order date for orders. They use the created date as the order date. Amazon does have a separate order date so it seems Skubana is using the marketplace order date as their created date and would explain why some orders were being missed.
To remedy this situation, we’ve modified the Skubana Integrator to look back at 12:15 am every day for any missing orders. The lookback schedule is as follows:
- Every day the integrator will request all orders for the last 3 days.
- On the first day of the week the Integrator will request all orders for last week.
- On the first day of the month the Integrator will request all orders for last month.
The lookback requests modification to the Integrator should resolve the missing orders issue.
